O surprise wedding by Georgina Rodríguez and Cristiano Ronaldo, on August 11, remains one of the themes of the moment. After revealing the images of the ceremony – first in the family room in Cascais and later in the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows, in the Shrine of Fatima – there was much to say about the chosen looks.
The couple and the five children were all dressed with the Gucci brand, the store where Gio worked when he met CR7. The bride chose a pencil skirt, a shirt and a white blazer and the player opted for a cream suit.
The subject was commented on in the program “Two at 10”, where Cláudio Ramos and Cristina Ferreira gave a sincere opinion on the look of the bride and groom.
“She was dressed as a store manager”, said Claudio Ramos.
“ With what Georgina has accustomed us [...] she has accustomed us to a style that no one imagined this on the day of marriage. Is that how she wanted it? Yeah, it's all right. I didn’t like it at all”, said Cristina Ferreira.

In an exclusive of Vogue magazine, Georgina explained what led her to choose a simple marriage in her home.
“ I want something intimate with my partner and our children at home. Because castles, houses, islands, horses, cars, we have all that in our grasp every day. But something intimate is more unusual for us. That's exactly how I imagined it. Intimate, full of love and with our family as protagonist. I could not contain the tears”, he explained.
Despite the intimate ceremony, the couple promised to have a big party in the future. “We will have a big wedding, so we can celebrate with family and friends”, they confessed.
