Visabeira Indústria acquired 342.672 shares from VAA – Vista Alegre Atlantis, in the context of the release of the latter from the stock exchange, according to a statement sent to the market.

ANDm communiqué sent to the market on Wednesday night, Vista Alegre Atlantis states that Visabeira Indústria acquired 342,672 shares “relative to sales instructions received by financial intermediaries legally entitled to receive orders to sell securities between September 28 and October 02”.
The exit of Vista Alegre Atalantis from the stock exchange, approved at the general meeting on May 29, had the approval of the Securities Market Commission (CMVM) on September 17.
Since then, on September 29, 1,629,737 shares have been acquired.
Vista Alegre Atlantis states that those interested in presenting the company's orders to sell shares may do so under the terms and conditions stipulated in the first announcement.
The third stage of settlement is scheduled for next Tuesday, October 13, covering all instructions for the sale of shares received by financial intermediaries authorised between October 5 and 9.
At the time of the announcement of the exit of the stock exchange, the supervisor pointed out that in order to comply with a standard of the Securities Code that defines how to proceed on a voluntary way out of the stock exchange, Visabeira Indústria, the main shareholder, “bought to acquire the shares held by the VAA shareholders who did not vote for exclusion at the time of the general meeting.”.
The grant exit proposal was presented on May 7 by the Visabeira Group, which controls more than 80% of VAA's capital.
The group proposed to purchase the shares at a price of EUR 1,07, each title, to shareholders who did not vote in favour of leaving the regulated market.
