ANDthis monday represents the end of the holiday for many portuguese, who saw their life return to normal routine.
So many are already thinking about when they will have a day off again.
In order not to discourage this return to normal, we remember that there are still a few holiday days left to rest until Christmas and New Year.
There are, in all, five holidays you can still enjoy before the end of 2026. Unfortunately one of them is on a Saturday... but there's good news.
In the month october 5, the implementation of the Republic is celebrated. The day is on a Monday, which means there's a long weekend this week.
The same luck is not the following month when on the holiday of 1 november, All Saints' Day, Saturday.
Then the holidays of 1 december, day of the Restoration of Independence, and december 8th, Day of the Immaculate Conception, both on Tuesday. If you still have days of vacation to enjoy, you can take advantage of a holiday on Monday and enjoy one (or two) extended weekends on these dates as well.
Finally, the year ends with the holiday of December 25, which this year is a Friday.
