Preoccupied with a millimetric surface of dust left uncleaned? It is not worth it, because, after all, it is not the views that notice these details, it is the experts in cleaning and organization.

There are mistakes they cannot ignore and, according to Martha Stewart, these are the worst. If you really want to improve the hygiene of your home, take note of what you need to change now!

Don't make those mistakes again:

Mix various types of products

Who says when you make a mix of disinfectants you can have a magic cleansing potion? You've probably also heard that less is more, and this is one of the cases where that clearly applies.

Mixing products can only, according to these experts, lead to dangerous chemical reactions and spoil domestic surfaces.

“ The most common mistake that people make is to combine leach with vinegar or other cleaning products,” said Aspen Clean President Alicia Sokolowski. “This can release toxic vapors and damage surfaces,” he adds.

To stay safe and clean as a true expert, this expert ensures that using a product type is more than enough.

Overloading floors

Following the previous error, it should also not leave too many liquids on the surfaces, especially if they are wood. Especially since to clean well doesn't need to create a flood.

Alongside that, Scott Schrader, Cottage's cleaning expert. Care stresses that it should not leave concentrated products in direct contact with the surfaces: “For concentrated products, properly dilute before use”.

Rinse and clean immediately

“ People tend to spray and clean immediately,” Sokolowski says. “Doing so, however, does not give enough time for the product to decompose fat, soap waste or bacteria.”

Sokolowski recommends following the instructions for each product. “The acting time can usually range from 30 seconds to a few minutes. Leaving the product to rest may even help to function more effectively, reducing the need to rub more.”

Clearing windows and mirrors with sunlight directly to focus

When cleaning glass, windows or mirrors never do so while the sun is hitting directly. According to these experts, this causes the product to dry too fast and can lead to the development of more stained surfaces.

To avoid this problem, experts recommend cleaning glass early in the morning or evening.
