The gums in the dishwasher are not just to leave dishes and glasses shining. Thanks to their degreasing power, they can be used to clean various areas of the house, from the exhaust to the shower room, helping remove fat, limestone and persistent dirt.

Atablets from the dishwasher can be used for other things. An article from Martha Stewart's website highlights some of its applications.
Exhaust
The dishwashing machine tablets contain enzymes that help to decompose fat, oils and residues from encrusted foods, being a great option to clean exhaust cleaners.
For this, you just break a gum and dissolve it in a bag of warm water. Then wet a cloth or sponge in the mixture, gently wipe the surface and rinse with water. Avoid abrasive sponges to avoid scratching the video or metal.
Shower room
Over time, shower cabin doors can accumulate soap residue and limestone stains. To clean them, just mix a tablet with water until you form a paste and apply it directly to the doors in circular movements. Let it work for a few minutes, rub it with a sponge and rinse.
Trash box
The surfactants and defattors present in the tablets can remove the dirt, food residues and odors from the garbage cans.
Just dissolve the gum in a bucket of hot water and put it in the crate. Let it act from 30 minutes to an hour, gently scrubbing if necessary. Rinse and let the crate dry outdoors.
Oven grills
If the oven grills are fat and leftovers of inlaid food that do not come out with water and detergent, try using a capsule.
“ Place the grills in a alguidar or hot tub with a capsule and soak for 30 minutes. Then rub it,” says cleaning expert Becky Rapinchuk. “Make sure you rinse them well before you put them back in the oven”.
Floor tiles
If your tile joint is dirty or losing color, use a capsule to regain its original beauty. Mix it with water and let it act from 5 to 10 minutes and then rub the joint with a brush. Test first to make sure the surface doesn't get damaged.
Stainless steel washbasins
Remove light fat, soap residue and food scraps from your stainless steel sink with a capsule. Dissolve it in warm water and apply it to a sink with a soft sponge. Rinse the sink thoroughly and dry it immediately to avoid water spots.
Window friezes
The enzymes and surfactants present in the capsules help release the dirt, dust and fat attached to the friezes of the windows and doors.
Dissolve a capsule in a glass of warm water and then dip a toothbrush in the solution. Rub the friezes and clean with a damp cloth.
