However, not this is not the only food you should bet on. There are more that can help achieve daily goals. Know the foods with more fiber than a slice of this bread.

Nutritionist Lindsey DeSoto signed an article for the Health website and revealed a list of foods that will be very useful. They all contain more fibers than a slice of mother pasta bread. Look at the list.

Food with more fiber than mother pasta bread

1- Lentils

“ Lentils are one of the most fibre-bound vegetable foods. Only one cooked cup provides more than half of the daily fiber requirement for most adults. Lentils are also rich in vegetable protein, offering about 18 grams per cup.”

2- Black beans

“Black beans contain soluble and insoluble fibers. Soluble fibers help control cholesterol and blood sugar. Insoluble fibers help in digestion and prevent constipation.”

3- Avocado

“The avocado provides a substantial amount of fibers in a single fruit, as well as healthy monounsaturated fats for the heart. The combination of healthy fibers and fats slows digestion and increases satiety, which can help reduce hunger between meals and help control weight.”

4- Chia seeds

“ Chia seeds offer a remarkable amount of fibers in a small portion. The soluble fiber present in chia seeds absorbs liquids and forms that have a gelatinous texture in the digestive tract. This slows digestion, helps balance blood sugar levels and provides a feeling of satiety after meals.”

5- Raspberries

“ Raspberries provide an impressive amount of fiber. They have almost a third of their daily fiber needs in just one cup.”

6- Pears

“ Pears provide almost 20% of the daily fiber target in a practical and easy to carry snack. Most of the fibers are in the shell, so keep it instead of peeling. The pears contain soluble and insoluble fibers, which help in digestion and help maintain normal cholesterol levels.”

7- Artichoke

“ Artichoke hearts are one of the richest fibre vegetables you can add to your diet. They contain a prebiotic fiber called inulin. Prebiotics feed beneficial bacteria in the intestine, help digestion and immune function, and can help reduce systemic inflammation.”

8- Oats

“ Oats provide a good amount of fibers per portion, much of them coming from a soluble fiber called beta-glucan. Beta-glucan can help reduce cholesterol and keep blood sugar levels stable after meals.”
