O AC Milan, trained by the Portuguese Ruben Amorim, lost today by 2-0 with Ferencváros, who remained at the top of the Europa League, alongside Bournemouth, and can receive Benfica's company on this fourth day.
The ‘bis’ of Haitian Lenny Joseph, at 52 and 66 minutes, allowed the Hungarian team to impose themselves in Italy, in the stadium of the second club with the most titles in the Champions League (seven trophies, only behind Real Madrid, which erected 15), but which is in trouble in the 2026/27 edition of the second European club competition.
The Portuguese international advance Gonçalo Ramos was a totalist in the formation trained by Ruben Amorim, but did not avoid the third defeat of the Milanese in the league phase, in four meetings, although the visitors have been reduced to 10 units since the 77 minutes, due to the expulsion of the Nigerian Him.
Ferencváros remained at the top of the ranking in the middle of the fourth journey, with a 100% victorious route, such as Bournemouth, which today turned the result and won 3-1 on the visit to Sparta Prague, but Hungarians and English can still be matched today by Benfica and Bayer Leverkusen, who receive the Poles from Lech Poznan and the French from Marseille, respectively.
It was from the substitute bank that the Portuguese international António Silva saw the Sparta de Prague inaugurate the marker, by the Gambian Ebrima Singhateh, at 35 minutes, but visitors took advantage of the expulsion of the Norwegian Tobias Guddal, in the Czechs, at 37, to consummate the twist, with goals of the American Tyler Adams, at 57, and of the Brazilian Evanilson, former FC Porto player, at 81, and Rayan, at 90.
Unlike Ruben Amorim, compatriot Vítor Bruno achieved the second consecutive triumph in the technical command of the Anderlecht, by 2-0, at the reception to the Austrians of Salzburg, with goals scored by Swedish Ludwig Augustinsson at 20 minutes, and German Marten Winkler, at 90, who launched the Belgians into the middle of the ranking.
In the first meeting without Paulo Fonseca and a day after the Portuguese coach was presented as a new coach of Sporting, Lyon – with compatriot Jorge Maciel taking the interim orientation – tied 1-1 at the stadium of Real Sociedad, which had Gonçalo Guedes in front of the attack and opened the count at 28 minutes, by the Icelandic Orri Óskarsson, before Corentin Tolisso equals the French, at 54.
