A Camped in Porto by housing today approved participation in a meeting, in the Palace of Belém, with the President of the Republic, and will ask António José Seguro to demand the resignation of the Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves.
The proposal was approved by a majority in the popular assembly that takes place since about 19:40, in Praça D. João I, in Porto, as it has been since 10 October.
In addition to the resignation of Luís Neves, among the protesters' demands are asked by António José Seguro to put himself “on the side of the protesters” making a clear vote of repudiation about police violence, and to stand on the side of the Constitution regarding the pre-constitutional legislation used by the PSP to suppress demonstrations for housing after 00:30.
The protesters of the Porto Camp, represented by a committee to be defined, also want to bring to Bethlehem a set of nine proposals on housing policies, and today some additions to the previous proposals have been voted on.
