Uu.S. border police and immigration officer (ICE), who was accused of running over a Mexican construction worker in Houston, was indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, prosecutors said.

The case was promoted by District Attorney Sean Teare, a Democrat, who is also investigating the shooting that caused the death of another Mexican construction worker in July, who caused a wave of protests in the fourth largest city in the United States.

Images of a video of the situation show a ‘jeep’ passing over a road separator towards the worker, with him running. The images do not show the car hitting it – another vehicle plugs the view – but shows the car moving away and the worker knocked down on the ground.

However, it was known that the ICE was looking for someone else, showing a photograph of someone who had gotten into a car with the worker hit by a car.

But his family members guarantee that they never saw him and a human rights defense group, FIEL, revealed that he had died in 2017.

The ECI did not respond when confronted with this information.

Prosecutor Teare’s office stated that the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees the ICE, did not cooperate in its investigations and accused ICE of destroying evidence, “either on purpose or through negligence.”.
