Braga without margin to miss: “The way needs to be shuddered”

O coach Franclim Carvalho said today that Sporting Braga has to “supply three points unreservedly” in the trip to the National ground, on Sunday, of the ninth day of the I Football League.

The Sporting of Braga returned to victories before the Belgians of the Gent (2-0), on Thursday, on the second day of the League Conference, after a cycle of four consecutive matches without winning (one draw and three losses), which dictated the departure of Carlos Vicens, but is only eighth ranked in the championship.

The Brazilians now face the National, which comes from being eliminated from the Cup of Portugal by the Sanjoanense, team of the Championship of Portugal (fourth echelon), and which has only one victory and has the worst defense of the championship (18 goals suffered).

“ We know how it works and when there's a change there's always a different posture in the field. This is gonna be the second game, but we've been here four days. The merit of the victory was all the players and it was very important. The long route and you have to shiver. We have to add three points undecidedly,” said the press conference forecasting the match.

In his debut as a trainer of the worms, Franclim Carvalho initially presented a line of four players behind, unlike Carlos Vicens, who wore three, but during the game the team also aligned with a five-player defense.

“ We have these dynamics and with Gent we have presented three different nuances. The characteristics of the players and we want to implement them will get married and will be a good end product. The Bright [Arrey-Mbi] was more open a few times [to the left], others more inside, has to have the comfort in both positions, but obviously there is more in the central corridor, because this has been his route ", said.

Sporting Braga shot five times in the first part before the Gent, a fact stressed by the technician at the end.

“Advices in the way you played before? I don't know. I just want my team to kick more ass and have that offensive caudal. In order to win, we need to go for the goal and for the goal. We made 17 shots in the second part, 22 in total and it was the game in which we made the most shots this time. It does not mean that we will always goal, but we will be closer to it ", reinforced.

Ricardo Horta placed the fascia in the qualification for the Champions League, reminding that this season the top three ranked three are ahead of the competition (the first two directly), but the coach wants to think game by game.

“ It seems very unnatural to think of the final classification because there are so many games missing. The most important is the game with the National and the final ranking of Sporting Braga will not be this for sure ", said.

The coach also said that Jonas Wind is not yet an option: “We know his route in the last year and a half, we have to manage Jonas differently, because I like to play and train with great progress in my teams.”.

Sporting Braga, eighth ranked, with 11 points, and National, 16th, with four, face from 18:00 Sunday, in the Stadium of Madeira, game that will be arbitrated by José Bessa, of the Porto association.
