O President of the Republic has just reacted to the death of the musician and “friend” Luís Represas, who left on Wednesday, July 22, at the age of 69.

In a note published on the page of the Presidency of the Republic, António José Seguro did not hide the emotion.

“There are voices that do not belong only to those who sing them. They belong to the time, memory and heart of a people”, started by writing the Head of State, showing that “the departure of Luís Represas will not find silence. You will find the songs you left on, like little lights on the lives of so many generations of Portuguese. You will find melodies that will continue to be born in each reunion, in every nostalgia, in every instant when someone sings the words that he offered us”.
