After severe illness and tumor, Marta d’Orey gave birth to her first child

Marta d’Orey Lima Mayer gave birth to his first son, Frederico, on August 3. The novelty was announced on social media, where the first photographs of the baby have now been revealed. 

The birth of the baby was announced with a text that appears to have been written even before childbirth, with the title “the way to the open air”, addressed to little Frederico. 

"Dear Fred, are you there? What nonsense, of course you are. I felt you slacking your legs just now. Or would it be an arm? In your human amalga, it is difficult to understand what the beginning and the end of the ball ", begins by reading.

Then the creator of digital content and photographer spoke about the moment of childbirth. Although they recommended a C-section due to her health history, Marta d’Orey refused and wanted to wait to go into labor in a natural way. 

“What now? When we were told, driven by fear, that it was best to prevent and remove you in clean cloths in the sterilization of a ready room? I moved for the courage you cultivated in me and said that “no”. That I'm ready to find out what I can stand; to break the process without seeing the outcome.

It was enough for me to hear you know that I had to put an end to my old history and separate it from your future; that your time is yours and yours alone. There's no need to warn, because there'll be nothing to remedy. I'm fine. Better than ever. I've been breathing deep for nine months. All my choices, I made them with you. And I'm so proud of myself. I rejected what was to be rejected, and accepted what was not to be overcome. And so, we ended up in the right hands, in the right place. The time? Only you can calculate. Surprisingly, I'm cool with it. Not knowing what only you know.”

This Friday, August 14, Marta d’Orey shared two photographs in which the baby shows. Along with the mother and baby comes the husband of the photographer and father of the child, Vasco Lima Mayer.

Marta d’Orey, remember, announced the pregnancy in January this year, after in 2025 she was diagnosed with a “ten centimeter tumor” lodged in a kidney. The creator of digital content became famous precisely because of a previous health problem, having made her fight against a rare and disabling disease public, post-infectious obliterative bronchiolitis, which she developed after a respiratory infection.
