You've killed Inter and you're in Milan's sights. Who's Amorim's new target?

Hthere's a serious new case in European football that's stirring up Italy and Germany. Nicolò Tresoldi, a forward of Club Brugge, has been in the mouth of the world since Tuesday, when he completed a hattrick in the victory before Inter (4-3), in the Champions League, and is already motivating the greed of rival AC Milan – and not only. 

A Gazzetta dello Sport writes, this Saturday, that Ruben Amorim's team already had the advanced signal, but that it can advance more determinedly in January, in the winter market, knowing, however, that it will have to invest at least 50 million euros. 

In the summer, Tresoldi had already motivated an offer from AS Roma worth 35 million euros, but Club Brugge chose to keep it in the squad, because it had already sold Tzolis to Arsenal. 

Now, the lot of interested parties has increased exponentially and the Belgian emblem will have serious difficulties in holding the player for much longer. Inter himself, Tresoldi's latest victim, is interested in his hiring, but the heart seems to belong to AC Milan, his father revealed. 

Emanuele Tresoldi was also a professional player and even wore Atalanta's sweater, predicting that his son's future will pass through AC Milan. 

“ My son is a fan of Milan and his dream is to wear the rossneri sweater. If Inter contacted him, I am not sure that he would accept it”, explained the old left side, in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, published last week. 

Germany or Italy? Decision is soon 

The rivalry for Nicolò Tresoldi isn't about clubs. The selections of Germany and Italy are also ‘crazy’ by the 22-year-old player and the decision is soon. Born in Cagliari, Italy, the advanced made all the training in Hannover, Germany, where he reached the main team. In the middle, it was inserted into the young layers of Germanic selections, giving letters in the sub-19 and sub-21. 

Only after competing for the European under-21 for Germany, which is scheduled for June 2027, Tresoldi must make a final choice about the main selection he will represent in the future.  

In this sense, Oliver Bierhoff, a former German international who wore the Milan AC sweater, asks Jurgen Klopp to convince the player to play for Mannschaft.

“If this continues, it can undoubtedly solve the problem of the lack of advanced in the German selection. So I don't think we should waste time. But as far as I know, the DFB [German Federation] is already in contact with it. We need all the talents, especially in the attack ", said, quoted by SPORT1. 

“I believe, however, that he should not make the decision between Germany and Italy only on the basis of sports criteria, but also with the heart,” Bierhoff appealed, before addressing the possibility of Tresoldi becoming a player in Milan. 

“ The fact that it has been claimed abroad is indeed remarkable and, of course, has contributed to its development. Marking in the Champions League is also an important sign that it manages to compete at the highest international level, and not only in the Belgian championship ", pointed out. 

“ Currently, AC Milan is no longer the top international team that was at the time I had the privilege of playing there,” recalled the former German advance who scored 45 goals in the service of the rossneri. 

Remember that Club Brugge paid just over seven million euros to buy Tresoldi to Hannover in the summer of 2025 and can now perform a much higher fitting. The 22-year-old scored 22 goals at the opening season and in the present he already takes nine in only 11 games played.
