“Ithis is crossing all limits. If they try to drag Free into this kind of mud, then we'll have to go to court if we have to. The Free is not a drag for dishonesty, the Free does not walk in the game of catching attention ", warned Rui Tavares, in a conversation in the rentree of the party, "The Septemberists", which takes place until Sunday, in Porto.
On the sidelines of the initiative, in statements to Lusa, Rui Tavares said that André Ventura appears to be “very nervous because more and more people realize that that cabinet story is very badly told and that it has many appearances of being a kind of self-stealing”.
“ I don’t know if it is or isn’t, but the interview he gave, when at some point he shoots to the PSD or to the Free the possibility that maybe it was them and us entering the office, must have a very firm answer”, he defended.
Accusing the president of Enough of being a “compulsive efabulator who invents any story to capture attention”, the former spokesman considered that Ventura “does not have the right to drag the Free” or even the PSD “to this mud”.
“ For our part, we make it very clear: this is a message for you to cease and give up doing so. Because otherwise, we, of course, will go to the courts and we will be able to become assistants in the process that there will be because of the history of the cabinet,” he added.
This week, in an interview with the NOW channel, the president of Aquida implied that PSD or Livra could have responsibilities in the alleged assault on André Ventura's cabinet in parliament in July.
“Deputy Hugo Soares [PSD parliamentary leader], I don’t know, maybe even one of his was there, because he keeps saying that Enough should be talking about this. I start by thinking that the PSD or the Livre went to the office, because they are always saying “they should talk about this, they should talk about it”, said André Ventura.
