A queen Camilla praised her husband, King Charles III, for his enormous courage in receiving the diagnosis of cancer.
In a video that celebrates three decades of the Maggie’s association, dedicated to the support of cancer patients and of which the monarch is president, Camilla also recalled an episode when she visited the organization and had, at the same time, to keep secret about what they were living. “I remember coming to Maggie’s right after the king was diagnosed, and no one could say anything at that time. It was quite difficult”, he confessed.
“ Almost said something, but I felt it was not the right time”, he added.
The queen said that Carlos was always very positive about the diagnosis and that “nothing stopped him”: “This is my way, I will deal with it”, he will have told the woman.
“ The situation had never really knocked on our door and suddenly your husband gets the diagnosis and you think: “My God”, Camilla confessed.
Camilla was pleased to learn that the organization recorded a 12% increase in the number of male aid applications since the monarch made his case public.
It is recalled that Carlos III was diagnosed with cancer in January 2024 and is undergoing treatment but it is not known to the public what state and what cancer disease he faces.
Also Kate Middleton publicly assumed, in May 2024, that she had been diagnosed with cancer after abdominal surgery and had begun to undergo preventive chemotherapy. In September of the same year, the princess revealed that she had finished and treated and in January 2025 publicly announced that she was in remission.
