Couple falls in the water while taking pictures: “We sank like the Titanic”

Uthe couple were taking different and original photographs on their wedding day in Norfolk, England, when an unusual moment happened... the newlyweds fell into the water. 

A video of Jamie and Michele became viral on social media due to the funny way they both fell into the water on the Bure River while taking pictures on top of a canoe. 

Michele told The Sun that the couple decided to climb the canoe. However, even though they were close to the margin, they eventually lost their balance.

“ I remember thinking as we ‘sink’: ‘I'm wearing a wedding dress and I got my hair done’. I only wore that dress for two hours. We sank like the Titanic,” he said

And he added: “It’s not the most elegant picture of newlyweds we had imagined, but in a way it sums up the day perfectly: totally unexpected, chaotic, soaked and full of love.”.

In the video, it is possible to watch the couple unbalance even though the groom still tries to hold on. In the end, Jamie and Michele end up laughing and kissing.

Also according to the British tabloid, at the wedding of Jamie and Michele, one of the guests rushed to the river to see how the bride and groom were, slipped and broke a leg.

Michele and Jamie, 46, met in 1993 at school. Soon after, they started dating, but eventually they split up and followed different paths. They met again in 2016 and became engaged in 2021.
