Aat 49, Rita Mendes assumes herself as a confident and safe woman. The former TV and DJ host owns an enviable physical form, which displays with pride.

However, Rita does not get rid of criticism whenever she decides to show herself in short clothes, cleavage or bikini. With a reply on the tip of the tongue, DJ openly decided to react to all the negative comments she has been receiving. 

“This post is dedicated to those who think a woman around 50 should apologize for feeling beautiful. Especially for the old school Facebook, where I seem to itch to many sad and angry alminhas – which on rich Instagram I live much more with love and mutual inspiration”, he began to mention.

“ I'd rather thank you than apologize for existing as I am. To thank the body that resisted. To the mind that rebuilt itself. The scars they taught me. To procrastination, which both makes me suffer and to be aware of the effort I have to make to overcome it. To the disease that forced me to stop and listen to myself, to do better every day by moving away from what is bad for me and closing painful chapters. To the falls that reminded me, over and over, that there was still strength to lift me up. While some spend energy criticizing, I continue to live.”

Rita Mendes gathered photographs in which she posed in a bikini. In this way, the communicator strengthened her self-confidence and indifference to criticism.
