A Liga Football Conference today had two Portuguese coaches involved, with Filipe Coelho serving Craiova University, tied to 1-1 with Getafe and Ricardo Sá Pinto, in Pafos, lost by 3-1 with Atalanta.

The Romanian formation, with Samuel Teles and João Lameira to holders, saw escape the possibility of adding the sixth consecutive victory in all races by stalling at home with the Spaniards.

At Ion Oblemenco Stadium, Palestinian Assad Al Hamlawi put the Romanian team in the lead at 59 minutes, but Getafe already tied near the end of the meeting, at 81, by Serbian Nemanja Gudelj, a player who in 2018/19 represented Sporting.

Different luck had Ricardo Sá Pinto at the start of the league phase of the Conference, since Pafos lost 3-1 at Atalanta's home, with goals of Macedonian Fljit Elmos, in the first minute, Giacomo Raspadari, at 18, penalti, and Gianluca Scamaca, at 44. Brazilian Biel reduced to Cypriots at 88 minutes.

The formation of Cyprus, with the Portuguese Pepe and Domingos Quina to titulars, and Alexandre Brito and Guga to enter the second half, also suffered, at 37, the contrariety of the injury of David Luiz, a central expert of 39 years who represented Benfica.

On the second day of the League Conference league phase, with games on 22 October, Pafos hosts the Riga of Latvia, and Craiova University goes to Andorra to face the Inter d’Escaldes.
