O Benfica received this Wednesday the Pafos team at Benfica Campus for a first-hand duel of the second elimination of the UEFA Youth League champions' path, winning the important victory to manage in Cyprus by 6-0.
After an overwhelming domain in the first part, the inaugural goal ended up only in the second half of the meeting, where the set commanded by Vítor Vinha ended up “running away” in the marker, in the face of the superiority of the incarnates.
In the eleventh title, the eagles were able to count on the ‘reinforcements’ Gabriel Indio, José Neto and Miguel Figueiredo, who had minutes for the main team with Marco Silva.
The truth is that the first 45 minutes, although they were of a unique sense, ended up with a null on the marker, already facing a Cypriot wall of Paphos, which kept its goal to zeros after suffering 13 shots of Benfica, six of which framed.
At the break, Vítor Vinha ended up launching Afonso Ferreirinha to the place of Miguel Figueiredo, and this bet was really well made, since, just 10 minutes later, following a direct freeman, the 17-year-old ended up taking advantage of the incomplete defense of Andreas Andreou, and inaugurated the marker in favor of the Club of Luz, in Seixal.

And this was the launch of the ketchup, since shortly after, there was another goal in the match, at 58 minutes, with Rafael Quintas to watch Francisco Silva for the second of the incarnate account, which gave more strength to the victory and display of the Portuguese set.

Already after the time of the game, Benfica continued to press the accelerator to increase the margin, under close watch of Rui Costa and Marco Silva in the stands, who saw Afonso Ferreirinha's bis arrive at 66 minutes, after a pass by Tomás Soares.

The spearhead did not want to leave anything undone, and ended up being able to complete the Hattrick, after another completion to the ‘killer’, with an assistance of José Neto, at 87 minutes.
In this way, Benfica has gained a very large advantage for the second hand, which will take place in Cyprus on 4 November, to see who will face the winner of the qualifier between Qarabag and Dinamo Zagreb, who saw the Croats win 1-2 in Azerbaijan.
