“ Cada acting in Tomorrowland is an intense and inspiring experience. Regardless of the number of times we act there, the feeling never becomes routine”, said Diogo Miranda (artistic name Diego Miranda), in an interview with the agency Lusa.

The relationship between Diego Miranda and the festival began in 2015 and remained throughout several editions (as in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and now in 2026), in a course that the Portuguese DJ describes as a “relationship built over the years”.

In this edition, she is currently performing on the Celestia stage along with the Portuguese DJ and producer Pette, and then solo next Sunday (July 26) on another stage, called The Great Library.

“There is trust between me, the organization and the whole team, but this trust arises from the consistent work, from the preparation and professionalism demonstrated in each edition. Nothing is guaranteed, so each invitation represents a very special recognition ", confessed.

For the artist, the presence at the Belgian festival also represents an opportunity to bring Portugal closer to an international audience.

“ It is always very exciting to look at the public and find Portuguese flags. I feel that there are more and more Portuguese in Tomorrowland and that makes me very happy ", defended in the statements to Lusa.

For this edition of Tomorrowland, Diego Miranda wants to present a renewed phase of his artistic identity, with new productions and collaborations, including works with the Brazilian producer DJ Glen and collaborations with the Catholic priest and DJ Padre Guilherme who have the voice of fadista Marta Alves and the participation of guitarist Rui Poço.

“It’s a way of giving rise to Portuguese talent and creating moments of connection to our identity, without ever losing the universal language of music or the international context of festivals like Tomorrowland,” he said.

In addition, “I want to show clearly the artistic phase that I am living”, which is why “the ‘set’ was thought of as a journey, with moments of much energy, but also of emotion and surprise,” Diego Miranda explained to Lusa.

According to the Portuguese producer, “Tomorrowland has its own energy”.

“It’s a festival that brings together people from all over the world and that creates a unique atmosphere. When I'm on that stage, I know I'm communicating with different cultures through music. It is a very intense experience and it never becomes routine, however often I touch it ", admitted.

With more than 20 years of career, Diego Miranda is one of the Portuguese names with the highest international projection in electronic music.

Born in Ericeira, he began as a DJ as a teenager and built a course marked by performances in major international festivals and clubs.

At the age of 47, Diego Miranda continues to view the international career as a priority, seeking to take Portuguese music to major world stages.

“ I am very proud to be Portuguese and to show that Portugal has artists able to compete at the highest level of electronic music worldwide,” Lusa said, considering it is “very important to have more and more Portuguese on the big stage”, in an allusion to MXGPU and BIA, who are debuting this weekend at Tomorrowland.

In this 21st edition of the Tomorrowland festival in Belgium, Diego Miranda will reinforce the growing Portuguese presence.
