“ O only control or ‘saveguard’ that the AI needs is a strong and intelligent President (high IQ!), and the United States has that much to spare,” Trump wrote on the social network Truth Social.

The U.S. Head of State has in recent days rejected the warnings of technological sector officials about the risks associated with the rapid development of the AI, arguing that excessive regulation in the United States would give Beijing advantage.

“ A DISEASE CONSPIRATION is underway against AI and data centers, and the only one that benefits from this is China,” Trump said.

“ WHO WINS THE IA RUN, WINS! We are ahead of China and all the others, and we will continue to do so,” Trump added, who also directed criticism of the “conspiracy theorists”, “traitors” and responsible for leaks of information to the press.

The U.S. President also attacked Anthropic's executive president, Dario Amodei, who on Saturday advocated a slowdown in technology development due to the risks posed by AI models that could evolve without human control.

“The Trump administration prevented the ‘personal’ of the AI from doing bad, or potentially bad, ‘things’ like Darius (from Anthropic!), who now pretends to be a ‘perfect little angel’,” Trump wrote.

Amodei's position on the need to halt the pace of development of the most advanced models is also supported by OpenAI's executive president Sam Altman and businessman Elon Musk.

Modei warned on Saturday that groups of AI agents could acquire sufficient capabilities to take control of significant parts of the Internet.

“ I fear that, within six to 12 months, a group [of AI agents] will be able to take control of the entire Internet,” Amodei said, estimating that such a scenario could cause “hundreds of billions of dollars in losses.”.

Trump recognized on Sunday that he heard directly from representatives of the technological sector, the previous week, concerns about the threats that artificial intelligence may pose.

Asked by journalists about whether he was minimizing these fears, he replied: “No, we do not minimize them, but, you know, there will be much more benefits than losses.”.
