O coach of Naples, Massimiliano Allegri, today admitted that the Italian team will have to be prepared for a game of “very suffering” against FC Porto, on Wednesday, for the League of Football Champions.

“Tomorrow [Wednesday] we play a game of great suffering or we get out of here defeated”, the Italian technician warned, in a press conference forecasting the fourth day of the league phase, at the Dragon Stadium, in Porto.

Allegri recognized the difficulties his team faces, at a time when he faces multiple absences from injury and a series of irregular results, but highlighted the quality of ‘dragons’, which have not yet scored in the main European club competition.

“ It will be difficult because they come from a winning series in the championship, where they won all the games, and in the Champions League they made good shows. As for us, talking about little is good, what needs to be done is a great exhibition ", reiterated.

The Neapolitan coach stressed the aggressiveness and technical and physical quality of FC Porto, considering that its team will have to have a high level in both offensive and defensive organization.

“ We know that FC Porto is very aggressive and has at home high quality players, technicians and physicists ", recognized.

Despite adding only three points in the first three Champions League days, the Italian coach rejected that the Dragon meeting was a last chance to maintain the qualifying aspirations for the phase to be eliminated.

“It will not be our last chance, because I have said before that with 10 points we go to play-offs. The game is important, but the phase passage will be disputed ", assured.

About the options available for the duel in the ‘invicta’ city, Allegri revealed that the Danish advanced Rasmus Hojlund recovered from a feverish episode, while the use of the Belgian medium Kevin De Bruyne remains in doubt.

“Hojlund no longer has a fever and in relation to De Bruyne we will practice today to see if it will be available for the game,” he explained.

The sides Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Mathías Olivera were injured in the defeat of the Neapolitans before the Juventus (2–0) on Sunday, being definitely away from the meeting.

In addition to these, David Neres and Alisson Santos, who have already represented Benfica and Sporting, respectively, also remain outside the accounts of the current eighth grade of Serie A, such as Leonardo Spinazzola, Stanislav Lobotka and Benoît Badiashile.

Asked about compatriot Francesco Farioli, his counterpart of FC Porto, Allegri praised the course of coach ‘blue and white’, highlighting the results achieved in the Netherlands, at the service of Ajax, and in Portugal.

“ He is a young coach who has already achieved good results, both in Ajax and now in FC Porto, so he has a very promising career ahead”, he considered.

The FC Porto, 34th ranked in the league phase, still without points, receives on Wednesday the Naples, 22nd, with three, at the Dragon Stadium, at 8:00 pm, in meeting the fourth day of the Champions League, under arbitration of the Englishman Michael Oliver.

Farioli gives the motto: “Don’t worry, we’ll be the usual FC Porto”

Francesco Farioli weaved praise to Napoli, but he is convinced that on the fourth attempt, FC Porto will even soften the first points in the league phase of the Champions League.
