The vice president of Feirense, Paulo Sérgio Pais, was elected on Thursday to join the administration of the SAD ‘fire’, becoming the first member of the club II Portuguese football league to take office in the corporate body.

A election took place during the ordinary general meeting of the club, held in the room António Lino, at the Marcolino Castro Stadium, whose works finished even before midnight.
The designation arises under the legal regime of the Anónimas Desportivas in Portugal, according to an update of 2023, which gives the founding club the right to appoint or elect a representative to join the management body of the SAD.
In the same legal framework, the elected element has the right to participate in all meetings of the administration of the society, although without the right to vote in deliberations, assuming a role of monitoring, monitoring and narrowing the institutional link with the founding club.
At the meeting, the members of the emblem of Santa Maria da Feira also approved the report of accounts for the sporting season 2025/2026 and the proposal for the application of results, with all items on the agenda receiving a favourable opinion.
