‘Flash’ in the middle of Mourinho’s making out gives you to say: “This is a me***”

Pablo Maffeo did not hide the indignation at the fact that he was forced to appear in the area of quick interviews, the interval of the game against Real Madrid, José Mourinho and Bernardo Silva, when the ‘your’ Valencia already lost, by 0-2.

O Valencia goes from bad to worse and suffered, this Saturday, that which was the seventh defeat after the 12 already contested days of the new sports season of 2026/27 of La Liga, this time, in the middle of Estadio Mestalla, before Real Madrid, by category 0-3, a result that leaves him in an even more fragile situation.

Fede Valverde opened the marker at 28 minutes, and Arda Guler expanded the advantage of the Portuguese team José Mourinho and Bernardo Silva, at 36 minutes. Shortly thereafter, the Spanish referee Hernández Maeso sounded the whistle for the break, paving the way for an episode that would eventually become viral on social networks.

The Spanish championship regulations require one player from each team to appear in the quick interview area (in this case, on the streaming platform) DAZN). The Che group highlighted for this task the Argentine international Pablo Maffeo... who did not hide the lack of patience to speak at such a delicate time.

“ I don't feel like doing this interview. I think this interview, here, is a me*** that doesn't work. We're playing a game, we get fouls that aren't, but if we have to do the interview, we do it. Ask me what you want and it is finished ", shot, on the way to the access tunnel to the locker room.

“ We're missing the referee to be a little fairer, that's all. I don't think that's a foul on the first goal thing, and that's a condition. Obviously, we are missing to the big opposing area, we lack game, but I think the team is competing well ", completed the 29-year-old player.

The truth is that the scenario would not improve in the second half. At 75 minutes, Kylian Mbappé scored the goal that sealed the final result, but the ‘nightmare’ did not stay here, since, just four minutes later, the captain of the men of the house, José Gayà, was sanctioned with direct red card, due to a hard fault precisely on the French.

The (delicate) situation in Valencia

After the accounts, Valencia gave the 12th round of La Liga in the 19th and penultimate position of the table (which, at the end of the season, will dictate automatic demotion to the second echelon of Spanish football), with nine points, obtained as a result of two victories (over Alavés and Elche) and three draws (against Celta de Vigo, Racing Santander and Athletic Bilbao).

The che set is just one point away from the Elche, the team that lives immediately above the ‘water line’. A scenario that, however, may get worse, since the French will still measure forces with Real Betis, from 1 p.m. (Hour of Continental Portugal) this Sunday, at the Martínez Valero Municipal Stadium.

However, now it is time to put this panorama on stand by, and focus all attention on the meeting of the first elimination of the King's Cup, before the UD Tavernes, which will take place in the State of Mestalla, as early as Tuesday, from 8 p.m.
