Hundreds of Palestinians took part in the Gaza Strip today at a funeral of 100 people, of whom 70 children, whose bodies were recovered in the last days from the rubble of buildings bombarded by Israel.

Dand according to information collected by the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the funeral took place in the Martyrs Cemetery in the Al Zeitun neighborhood in Gaza (north) after the recovery of bodies in houses or buildings belonging to four Gaza families.
The procession departed from the mosque of the Imam al-Shafi, from which the coffins were removed, covered with Palestinian flags. Several common graves had been dug in the cemetery to bury the remains of the victims, who were killed in the early stages of the Israeli offensive triggered after the attack of the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas on October 7, 2023.
According to the latest report by the Hamas-led Gaza authorities, the Israeli offensive has so far caused more than 73,650 killed and nearly 174,600 injured, including 1,344 killed and 4,481 injured by Israeli attacks since the ceasefire agreed in October 2025 to implement the United States proposal for the Palestinian enclave.
The figures provided by the Gaza authorities are considered reliable by the UN.
