O release of "GTA VI" remains scheduled for November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series but, apparently, the latest title developed by Rockstar Games did not need to reach the stores to make its mark.
The game has already entered Guinness World Records, more precisely for the video game edition of the year 2027.
According to techRadar site, the second trailer of “GTA VI”, released in May 2025, became the trailer of a game most seen ever in one day – bringing together a total of 475 million views. In fact, at a certain point this was the video with the best release ever, having been later beaten by the trailer of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”.
“ I’m sure there will be records with regard to numbers of players and revenue generated and of course we’ll be watching things like the number of producers who worked in the game.”, notes the editor of Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2027, Alice Bell. “ Needless to say, the contribution of all the people who worked in ‘GTA VI’ is important”.
It is worth remembering that, so far, only three videos of “GTA VI” have been released. The first trailer was shared in December 2023, the already mentioned second trailer arrived in May 2025 and, finally, in August this year we were entitled to a broadcast of almost 30 minutes of the game.
This presentation was first broadcast in exclusive on Netflix and six hours later, it was available on YouTube so that everyone could see her.
