Marc Márquez performed the 27 laps to the circuit of Misano in 41,13,013 minutes, ending with 657 thousandths of second advantage over brother Álex Márquez (Ducati), second ranked, and 2,326 seconds on Pedro Acosta (KTM), third.

Bezzecchi, who left the pole position for this 14th round of the season, kept Marc Márquez behind him at the start, but lost Aprilia's lead and fell at turn 13 of the first lap, when he was running the race, without suffering physical consequences.

The abandonment of the Italian, second ranked in the sprint race on Saturday, left Marc Márquez in the lead, ahead of Jorge Martín, but the pilot of Aprilia surpassed the compatriot in the seventh round.

Marc Márquez responded to the attack, progressively recovering the difference, and resumed command on the 12th round.

Two laps later, Alex Márquez, who recovered from the ninth place of the starting grid, surpassed Martín at the same turn and went on to pursue his older brother.

Pedro Acosta removed Martín from the podium seats on the 16th lap, before Fermín Aldeguer (Ducati) also surpassed the world champion of 2024, relegating him to fifth place.

Alex Márquez still reduced the disadvantage to about half a second in the last five laps, but Marc Márquez controlled his brother's approach and secured the 78th career victory in the main category.

Álex Márquez finished second, in a race in which the Gresini team used a special decoration in honor of the late Italian pilot Marco Simoncelli, while Acosta won the second consecutive podium and the fifth of the season.

Aldeguer was fourth, at 6,027 seconds of the winner, followed by Martín, at 14,021, and Raúl Fernández (Aprilia), at 18,252, in a race in which Spanish pilots occupied the top six positions.

The Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) also abandoned due to a fall, ending with no home tasting points, after having already stayed out of the points in the sprint race.

With the fifth win of the season, Marc Márquez added 274 points, the same as Jorge Martín, but took the lead of the World Cup for having more triumphs. Bezzecchi maintains the third position, with 241 points, to 33 of the first two.

The championship continues next weekend with the Austrian Grand Prix on the Red Bull Ring circuit.
