Presounded by journalists, on the margins of signing the contract with Lufthansa, Prime Minister Luís Montenegro said he will make a communication to the country this Tuesday evening by 20 hours.

Even if it did not advance the matter, it can be inferred that communication has to do with the demonstrations of the right to housing and the polemic consequences in its orbit.

The head of government, questioned by journalists about the developments known today, such as the order of the Lisbon Administrative Court, chose to refer to later. “I know well that your journalistic curiosity is very focused on other topics, in particular on the topic of Housing, but if you do not take this the wrong way, I refer to any pronouncement in this area for the statement I will make to the country at eight o’clock in the evening,” promising a later “conversation” with journalists.

These statements occurred shortly after the signing ceremony of part of TAP's capital to Lufthansa, which took place in a hangar at Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon.

This communication, remember, takes place after weeks of demonstrations and various police interventions in Lisbon and Porto against protesters protesting against the cost of housing. These police charges have started a chorus of criticism of the Government, especially the Minister of Internal Affairs, who has maintained the legitimacy of these interventions.
