O prince Harry and Meghan Markle are back in the UK after leaving their royal duties in 2020.
According to People magazine, the Dukes of Sussex go with their two sons, Prince Archie, seven years old, and Princess Lilibet, five years old, for a long period and as of this month. According to the publication, the children will attend school in september.
The couple will keep the house in Montecito, California, and their holiday home in Portugal, while establishing a base in the United Kingdom. However, this return does not mean that they will have real functions, on the contrary, they remained null.
The location of the new family residence and the children's school are confidential.
Harry and Meghan lived in Frogmore Cottage, the Windsor residence offered to them by Queen Elizabeth in 2023. Charles III demanded that they vacate the house after the publication of Harry’s book of memoirs, “Spare” (“Na Sombra”, in Portuguese), which laid bare various details and secrets about the British royal family.
Charles was informed of this decision last Sunday, August 16 and, according to People, the monarch is happy with the decision because he will be able to deprive the family more closely.
It should be noted that Sussex returned to the United Kingdom this summer, in which it was the first reunion of children with their grandfather in more than four years.
Harry also participated in public events related to the 2027 Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham.
The Duke and Duchess left the UK in 2020 and went looking for more freedom. The couple attempted to propose a partial model in the sense that they continued to support the monarchy and, at the same time, tried to obtain income in another way but Queen Elizabeth rejected it, stating that senior members of the royal family in official functions cannot reconcile certain official duties with private commercial contracts.
In the United States, the couple made bombastic statements during an interview with Oprah Winfrey, in addition to releasing the documentary series “Harry & Meghan” on Netflix and Harry’s memoirs.
