U28-year-old male was arrested by GNR for suspicion of physical and psychological violence against his parents in the municipality of Alter do Chão, district of Portalegre, today released that security force.
In a statement, the Portalegre Territorial Command of GNR indicates that the arrest took place on Thursday, through the Center for Research and Support for Specific Victims (NIAVE).
“ As part of an ongoing investigation, the GNR military carried out police steps that made it possible to ascertain that the suspect exercised physical and psychological violence against the victims, their parents, aged 56 and 64”, reads the document.
The detainee was present at the Border Court on Friday, where the preventive detention measures were applied and prohibition of contacting the offended, by any means (written, spoken or technological), directly or by interposed person.
