The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced today that he intends to create a “dedicated force” for artificial intelligence (IA) and reiterated that he will not accept anything that would hinder the development of this technology.

Trump contests the voices and requests, which multiply, to slow down the development of the AI in the face of concerns about the danger of this technology and said it will not “in any way prevent or stop the growth of this incredible industry.”.
“ On the contrary, we will value it, help it and take care of it”, wrote the American President on his Truth Social network.
In this sense, he announced the creation of an “AI Force” based on the model of the United States Space Force, the sixth branch of the armed forces he created during his first term, without specifying its nature or the missions that will be assigned to him.
“I will announce very soon the appointment of an ‘tsar’ of the AI,” he added.
Great advocate of artificial intelligence, the Republican American President accuses Democrats of spreading false information on the subject with the aim of obtaining the AI’s “decimation or destruction”, criticised several times those who alert their risks and refuses more restrictive regulation.
This despite the call to slow down the development of this technology made by co-founder and president of Anthropic, Dario Amodei, to whom Elon Musk and Sam Altman (OpenAI) joined.
This warning arose after the warning of Jacob Coxon, an Anthropic's resignationary and former OpenAI employee, about the dangers of the AI to all humanity and also from a series of incidents in which AI spontaneously left their confined environment to go online and attack websites and platforms.
