The other app Warnings@IPMA, it allows to receive warnings regarding the occurrence of risk weather situations during the following 72 hours and to understand if there is any region that might want to avoid by presenting a higher risk with regard to fires.

These two apps are available free for Android and iOS phones and are intended for a more preventive posture. On the other hand, there is one more application that we would like to recommend – it is also free and present in virtual app stores Google and Apple.

This app goes by the name of Fires. pt and presents a map of the Portuguese territory with all fires taking place at the moment. According to the app page in Google's virtual store, the data is updated every 2 minutes based on information from the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC).

In addition to applications, the Fires.pt platform is also available at web version and allows you to see not only the means deployed for fighting fires, but also warnings for roads with cut traffic.

Given that we are still at the end of July and with August and September ahead, it is important that the population is on fire prevention and these three apps are a good way to keep up to date on the situation.
