Jonathan Taylor Thomas was arrested for obstruction or resistance to an agent, according to TMZ, which was the first international media to advance the news.
Sources revealed to TMZ that the star of the 90s series “Works at Home” was in a vehicle that was stopped by the authorities on Monday in Westlake Village, California. But the actor wasn't the driver of the car.
Jonathan Taylor Thomas, who is currently 45 years old, left the car at some point, but the agents asked him to stay inside the car, and the actor refused to obey. I'd be drunk.
“The driver was being detained for investigation for driving under the influence of alcohol. At some point during the investigation, Mr. Taylor decided to leave the vehicle. The police ordered me to sit down again. He did not cooperate, did not obey orders and obstructed the investigation, having been arrested for obstruction and for being under the influence of alcohol on public roads ", explained the authorities, according to People.
Jonathan Taylor Thomas was arrested at the Malibu/Lost Hills police station at 12:32 a.m. and was released hours later.
To date, Jonathan Taylor Thomas or his team did not speak about what happened after they were contacted by international press.
