Julia Pinheiro speaks of the granddaughters, the “miracle babies”: “I fell down crying”

Júlia Pinheiro attended SIC’s “Hello Portugal” program this Saturday, where she ended up talking about the family phase she is living in. The host of the channel of Paço de Arcos was grandmother for the second time, of little Victoria, less than a month ago and could not be happier. 

The communicator explained that when she was a mother she had great help from the closest people like her parents and in-laws, and now she does the same with her eldest granddaughter, Pilar, daughter of her twin daughter Matilde.

“ I'm very busy with Pilar [...] I was very much helped by my parents and my in-laws. They did that late afternoon shift, pick it up from school, put it in the bathtub, give it dinner, and when I got there, they're already in their pajamas. I've been trying to do just that with Pilar, when it's possible and I have the best accomplice. Rui Pêgo is the best grandfather in the world. Haven't I ever had any doubts about your capacity for affection, on your protective side, now my husband feeding the pope? Making soup... pass the soup, give the soup, give the bath, everything. On all fronts ", said proud.

Ana Marques further questioned Julia because the host refers to the granddaughters as “miracle babies”.

“ Since it is public, my two daughters had a serious health problem [...] We live in horrible times, we didn't know what could happen, because anorexia, among other things, delays the whole reproductive process, can affect a lot of things. And so when Matilde came to us two years ago to say: 'I think I am pregnant', we did not believe. And she was really pregnant,” she said. 

About a year later, Carolina communicated to the family that she was also pregnant. “And a year ago, on Christmas Day... I was standing there in a beautiful pot full of clams and duck buns and comes into Carolina and says: ‘I am pregnant’. I fell crying, I am a great crybaby ", said also. 

“They’re my miracle babies,” he added.
