Kto Middleton faced a great ordeal when he was diagnosed with cancer in 2024. Not many details about the Princess of Wales' disease are known but it is known that she had to do “preventive chemotherapy”.

On a visit to a cancer treatment centre last month, William's wife ended up talking about one of the effects of chemotherapy she felt on her skin and that conditioned her lifestyle in a way.

The Princess of Wales revealed that she “could not read” and had difficulty “maintaining focus”.

In a video that went viral on social media, we can hear Kate explaining to a center user who resorted to activities linked to paintings and art after realizing that reading was complicated.

“ I don't know about you, but I really couldn't read or concentrate on anything. And actually, painting was my way of exploring interesting things and doing something that didn't require a final product or a finished work. But, in fact, it is just a way of playing and getting carried away and many thoughts arose during this process ", confessed.

It is recalled that the princess revealed in early 2025 that she was in remission from cancer.

According to Hello magazine, this cognitive problem, known as “cheme brain” is common among patients. People may have memory loss, attention deficit and difficulty performing multiple tasks at the same time.

According to Royal Marsden, where Kate did the treatments, the condition is caused by both cancer and treatment.

“Cancer does not just affect the body. It changes the way we think and feel”

Kate Middleton reflects on cancer by revealing that she secretly climbed the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours. “I accepted the challenge not only as a physical test, but as an opportunity to explore life beyond diagnosis.”
