Com so many rumors that have circulated on the subject, it seems to be almost guaranteed that Apple will announce in September its first mobile phone with folding screen – known as iPhone Ultra (or iPhone Fold).
We have also seen multiple rumors that realize that this first proposal from Apple for the category of folding phones may have more limited units, something resulting from problems encountered during the start of mass production of this model.
Well, now say one australian publication that, in fact, iPhone Ultra may not start by being launched in every territory where Apple is present. Allegedly, Apple will be able to make the decision to, at first, launch the iPhone Ultra only in the US.
Apparently, the decision will be motivated by such problems felt during the production phase and, with limited units, Apple will have decided to concentrate the sale of iPhone Ultra on a single market. Of course, once launched in the US, the mobile phone will eventually be released in other major markets, such as China, the UK, etc.
Moreover, the same publication in Australia states that Apple will not reveal the price of iPhone Ultra when the phone is presented. The official presentation of iPhone Ultra should take place at the annual Apple event dedicated to the announcement of new products that, according to the latest forecasts, will take place on September 8.
As is normal for Apple product launches, we will have to wait for the official presentation to know for sure what the Apple Company plans are. For the time being, this information is only a matter of rumors lacking official confirmation.
Apple must have 8 different products
One of the most recognized names for Apple related topics believes that the Apple Company will announce a total of eight new products at its annual event, which usually takes place in September.
Remember that John Ternus will start his term as Apple's new CEO in early September, which means that Apple's next annual event will be the first as the company's leader.
According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, Ternus will have the opportunity to make himself known as Apple's CEO with new versions of Apple's leading products, including a new generation of iPhone and Apple Watch.
Apple fans can expect to see iPhone 18 Pro, o iPhone 18 Pro Max, o Apple Watch Series 12, o Apple Watch Ultra 4, a new Apple TV 4K and HomePod Mini 2. However, Apple won't be around and wants to officially unlock the first folding screen phone – known as iPhone Ultra – and a homemade column equipped with a screen – currently known as HomePad or HomePod Touch.
Of course, Apple's first foldable iPhone should be the highlight of the event, and HomePad should also have great interest because it works mainly with the new generation of the Siri digital assistant equipped with Artificial Intelligence.
Remember, though, that Apple might not be around. Apple is believed to announce a new iPad mini this year and also MacBook Pro with M6 processor. On the other hand, it is believed that these devices will not be announced until October.
On the other hand, there is always the possibility of seeing in September other Apple products that have long been rumored, namely AirPods equipped with cameras. Although I believe that these new wireless headphones can be revealed in September, Gurman does not include them with so many certainties in the lot of the 8 products mentioned above.
