Leader of the Swedish Centre Party in charge of forming Government

The leader of the Swedish Centre Party, Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist, was today charged with trying to form a government after the political impasse resulting from the September elections. The President of Parliament, Andreas Norlén, announced the decision, highlighting that the centrist leader should assess the conditions for forming an executive located at the centre of the political spectrum.
