Protesters Lisbon camped
A Camped in Lisbon by the right to housing decided to reassemble tents in Rossio with the intention of staying overnight in that square, a week after the protest that ended with a police charge on the protesters in the same place.
“ We will camp, yes”, guaranteed the microphone one of the spokespersons of the movement, before closing the popular assembly, which ended around 8:30.
Addressing the thousands of protesters who, after the protest from Largo do Chiado, remained in Rossio, the spokesman asked them to vacate half of Dom Pedro IV Square so that participants in the ‘camp’ could install the tents.
By 9:00 p.m., several dozen tents already occupied the southern part of Rossio, while other groups continued to set up the shelter for tonight.
