O French government today announced that at least 422 people were detained in the country until 19:50 locals, a figure lower than the two previous mobilizations, but remains alert due to social media summons.

The French Minister of the Interior, Laurent Nuñez, said that “the demonstrations went well”, although he lamented that groups of agitators infiltrated the protests have again clashed with security forces.

“ We are ready to welcome those who want to come to a confrontation tonight. Let us be clear: we are waiting for you firmly and with all authority ", said Nuñez, in a statement to the press.

Among the incidents, the minister reported that a police officer suffered minor injuries after being attacked with a ‘cocktail molotov’. The case gained repercussions after the agent's circulation of images with part of his burning equipment.

The authorities have announced that so far there have been a dozen injured gendarmes.

With regard to the report of the injured demonstrators, data have not yet been released.

Security forces remain alert, as they circulate on social networks calls for unauthorised protests and for the practice of violent acts, taking advantage of Halloween night.

The incidents at the end of the demonstrations occurred in cities such as Paris, Marseille, Rennes, Lyon, Nantes and Toulouse.

However, in general, participation in the mobilizations throughout the country — some 320 thousand people, according to official figures — declined compared to those of the Saturday and, above all, compared to those of October 17.

To avoid a day like that, when security forces lost control and protesters promoted several acts of vandalism, about 70,000 agents were mobilized by the country.
