Fhi a very controversial afternoon in the II Portuguese League, with two games that counted with VAR the good pleasure throughout their matches. Benfica B received, in Seixal, the team of the Sports of Keys, in a match that ended with the victory achieved near the end, while the Union of Leiria saw the AVS visit the Stadium Dr. Magalhães Pessoa, with the triumph smiling at the club of Lis.

The West Continental class began the nineth race journey with fewer points than the opponent of this encounter, but it was even the strongest one. The ball entered the AVS goal on two occasions during the first part, but the whole house saw the two bids being cancelled by the VAR at 19 and 41 minutes.

Among these situations, the visitors were among the ‘raindrops’ and were kind enough to score the first goal from the start, with Hiago Santos being the man who broke the ice in Leiria.

The result was even a partial victory of the outsiders to the interval, with the Leiria Union moving to the interval. The conversation in the locker room changed something, even if it's the fact that the home players stay on the line so they don't see the goals cancelled.

This is because, at 73 minutes, Pablo Fernández did not forgive and even managed to score the goal of the draw, with the final straight to bring another moment of party in the stands, after Rodrigo Pinho was mistaken in the goal and made a self-wind at 86 minutes.

In this way, the Union of Leiria surpasses the AVS, adding 14 points, two more than the class of Vila das Aves, being in the seventh place of the classification table.

Benfica B beats Keys near the end

Benfica B had to suffer a lot to win the Key Sport after a very controversial game at Benfica Campus, despite the 3-1 victory for the eagles.

The incarnates even began in the best way with a goal scored by Tiago Freitas, but then there was a goal cancelled by the VAR to Wilson Tavares, which was almost five minutes to be invalidated. Still, the brave transmontans managed to reach the goal to count, with André Rodrigues making money at 21 minutes of play.

In the second half, the meeting took a new polemic, when a great penalty remained to be pointed out in favor of the eagles and, minutes later, a great penalty was asked, this time for the Chaves, which stayed more than six minutes until it was reversed, there being no maximum punishment for any of the teams.

But the magic of the Seixal would appear in the final minutes, when Gonçalo Moreira made a goal to give the three points to the incarnates, at 89 minutes. When everything seemed to be settled, here came another young man formed by Benfica to spread his charm within the field, with Olívio Tomé doing the 3-1 with a Maradonian race that left the benches ecstatic.

With this victory, Benfica rises to the third place of the podium, while the Chaves stands at the doors of the demotion zone, where you can stay if Felgueiras beats Tondela this Sunday.
