A the tenth day of the I League continues to give emotions to the adherents and this Saturday was no exception. Moreirense received the whole of the Amadora Star at Joaquim de Almeida Freitas Park, in Moreira de Cónegos, under the arbitration led by João Pinheiro, in a match that smiled at the club of the house, with a 2-1 victory achieved during the compensation period.
The set of Vasco Botelho da Costa came from a comfortable victory before Estoril Praia, outside doors, while Pepa's class felt no other flavor than defeat there are three games in the national championship.
Still, there was a mutual respect throughout the match, especially in the first part of the meeting, where there was no chance of danger in the early 45 minutes, despite some ‘loose’ shots from both teams.
However, lectures at the break were eventually well achieved, as seven minutes dictated the final result. At 50 minutes, Moreirense opened the scorer, after a play invented by Manuel Mendonça, a player who graduated from Sporting, who watched Landerson for the first goal of the match, in which he made his debut this season.
However, the margin was cancelled at 57 minutes, after the Amadora Star stalled through the middle Croatian Lovro Zovnarek, who was not asked to shoot to count and return equality to the Reboleira class, on his visit to Minho de Portugal Continental.
After the assistance made for the goal that broke the ice in the city of Guimarães, Manuel Mendonça even had to leave due to injury, causing complications for Moreirense.
The final line of the meeting was the one that had the most occasions with the goals, with the stars having more chances to reach the goal of victory, even though none of the teams had a really glaring opportunity to make the opposing networks shake for the final celebration in Moreira de Cónegos, before the seven minutes of compensation given by referee João Pinheiro.
It was at that time that a savior named Nile John appeared, who shot the victory goal at 90+5 minutes, placing Vasco Botelho da Costa in euphoria on the bench of alternates.
With this result, the Moreirense rose, although to the condition, to the eighth place of the classification table, with 14 points added in 10 contested matches, while the Amadora Star could not overcome the Famalicão in the 11th position of the classification, with the same 10 points added up so far.
