A Apple should take advantage of its September event to officially announce the Apple Watch Series 12, a new generation of smart watch that, according to rumors, will be entitled to a special edition as it was not seen seven years ago.
This special edition will apply ceramics to the watch structure, a type of material that was no longer used in an Apple Company watch watch watch since the Apple Watch Series 5 in 2019.
The information that Apple intends to use ceramics for one of the versions of Apple Watch Series 12 was advanced by the Kosutami page on the social network X (below) and it is not known whether other special editions of watches with other materials will be sold.
However, given that these editions of ceramic watches (and mobile phones) usually cost more than standard versions, this may be an interesting way for Apple to give consumers a more premium version of your Apple Watch without forcing them to choose the Ultra model.
At the moment, no more information is known about the Apple Watch Series 12 but, relying on the information that has been circulated, Apple is believed to hold its event between September 8 and 9.
In addition to this new smart watch model, Apple is believed to officially unlock iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, in addition to what will be its first folding screen mobile phone – currently known as iPhone Ultra. As for AirPods equipped with “chambers”, it seems that stakeholders will have to wait for the next year.

New AirPods for 2027
It started circulating this week a video which allegedly shows how the next AirPods will work which, thanks to the cameras integrated in the rods, will enable the digital assistant Siri (with Artificial Intelligence) to understand what is going on around the user.
The appearance of this video caused many to speculate that these AirPods could be announced next September at the (traditional) Apple event dedicated to revealing new products. However, this does not seem to happen.
Says the journalist Mark Gurman from Bloomberg that these new AirPods “continue planned for 2027”, adding no forecast on the period of next year in which we can expect this new generation.
Nevertheless, Gurman shares some information about how these AirPods will work, mainly responding to user criticism and fears about privacy issues.
According to Bloomberg's journalist, these cameras will be, after all, low-resolution sensors. This means that it will not be possible for AirPods to take photographs or record videos of what is around users, serving only to “analyze the surrounding environment and provide context for the Siri digital assistant and other Artificial Intelligence tools”.
Since we still have to wait for the next year to officially get to know these new AirPods, it is possible that Apple will still be in time to make changes to this new generation and ensure that these wireless earphones correspond not only to expectations but also do not violate privacy principles.
As for the best time for Apple to officially reveal these AirPods, it must be remembered that the company should have products to advertise in the first quarter of 2027. It turns out that the standard model of iPhone 18 (as did iPhone 18e and iPhone 18e iPhone Air 2) have been launched for the spring, so it is entirely possible that the announcement of this new product will also be available on this occasion.
At worst, the announcement of these new AirPods could be planned for the second half of 2027 and, in this case, it is possible that the revelation is a year away.
