A Judicial Police (PJ) will investigate the origin of a fire that broke out this morning in a restaurant in Viana do Alentejo, in the district of Évora, without causing victims, revealed source of GNR.
The fire alert, indicated to the agency Lusa a source of the Subregional Emergency and Civil Protection Command of the Central Alentejo, was given at 07:13, when the restaurant, located on Rua Maria Joana Cabral, was closed.
According to the same source, the flames completely destroyed the kitchen and the smoke caused damage to the restaurant room.
Contacted by Lusa, a source of the Évora Territorial Command of the Republican National Guard (GNR) said that the origin of the fire will be investigated by PJ.
The rescue operations mobilized the Viana do Alentejo Firefighters and the GNR.
