ANDin less than a month, three people were abducted in Barcelona. The most recent case occurred early on Monday, September 21, when a man was forced into a car while screaming for help.
Everything will have happened around 02h00 (01h00 in Portugal) in Rua Huelva, in the neighborhood of Sant Martí de Provences.
According to the Spanish media, the victim screamed for help while a group of men forced him into an automobile.
The event was witnessed by witnesses who contacted the emergency services. After the alert, the Mosses of the Squad tried to locate the vehicle, but unsuccessfully.
The victim would eventually be found alive hours later, having been released near Salt City in Girona. The man was found by the popular, and he was seriously injured.
The Catalan police were called to the scene and are now investigating the incident. According to police sources, cited by El País, the authorities stated that this is another episode of violence involving rival groups.
False cops kidnap man on highway
It should be recalled that a similar case occurred last Saturday in Barcelona.
Five men posed as police officers and kidnapped a man on the AP-7 highway. The kidnapping took place in broad daylight and was witnessed by several drivers who were there.
In fact, the moment was filmed by a witness, who later called 911 and reported that the five men were armed.
The victim, notice, was released hours later and found by the authorities.
The Catalan authorities are also investigating this case, and on the table the possibility that the incident is an accounting between rival drug trafficking groups.
Man shot and taken in the trunk
According to the Spanish press, the first case similar to the two reports above happened at the end of the afternoon of September 7, in the neighborhood of Ca n’Espínos. A motorcyclist was shot and then put in the trunk of a vehicle.
Later, the Mossos d’Esquadria were alerted to blood spots on the road, as well as a fallen motorcycle. Hours later, the victim was found badly injured in Sabadell, more than 40 kilometers from where he was shot.
As in other cases, the Catalan police are investigating and once again associate this crime with drug trafficking and possible accountability.
