A portugal's national roller hockey team went from heaven to hell in the World Cup, after having succeeded in the debut in the way of a win with a defeat before Spain, which won by 2-4 at COP Arena – Óscar Harrison, Paraguay.
The game began to have the outlines defined for the difficulty that would be adjacent to the Iberian duel when, at four minutes, Pau Bargalló hit Carlos Ramos on the face and, after request of challenge of the team of the quinas, the VAR nothing signaled... for not having available images of the bid.
Soon after, the bad luck became even greater, since Eloi Cervera made the first goal of the match in favor of the selection of La Roja, after a great shot that gave no chance to the goalkeeper Pedro Henriques.
To make matters worse, Nil Roca made a point of putting Portugal back in trouble by increasing the advantage of the Spanish class two minutes later, to bring down the Portuguese ambition to try to respond to the first Iberian coup.
The truth is that until the break there was no more goal for the feast in Paraguay, even though it was not necessary to wait long for there to be a new moment of celebration... for Spain.
Marc Grau, from Barcelona, made the third and put the bar very complicated for a re-established Portuguese style, which was still outlined in the final stretch of the meeting.
Zé Miranda was the first to threaten, with a very strong shot to the pole of the goal of Càndid Ballart, before, at the 40 minutes of the match, the first reaction appeared in good Portuguese language, with Miguel Rocha to reduce the accounts with a stick of the middle of the street.
Arbitration was again against Portugal, after a clear bid to exclude blue card was not confirmed by the VAR, in a bid between Biel Llanes and Carlos Ramos.
The national team also did not help themselves, with Miguel Rocha not being able to convert the free direct at 42 minutes of the meeting, although Spain also saw Pau Bargalló fail at 48.
At the last minute of the game, the thrill hit the COP Arena hard, as Marc Grau saw the blue card and then Gonçalo Alves made the 2-3 when there were still 50 seconds to the end of the game.
In an attempt to make the goal that would draw the draw, the Portuguese team withdrew the goalkeeper to make a superiority of five against three, but ended up not finding the path of the goal and give the spherical to the Spaniards, who made the 2-4 right above the final horn, with a shot of Pol Manrubia, current player of FC Porto.
