O Real Madrid visited and defeated, on Saturday night, the Valencia (3-0), in play of the 12th La Liga journey, matching, to the condition, the Barcelona leader at the top of the qualifying table.

Mourinho's commandos accumulated the fifth consecutive victory in the championship and soon began to resolve the meeting at the Mestalla.

With Bernardo Silva lining up at first, the first goal appeared at 28 minutes by Federico Valverde's feet. Kylian Mbappé advanced to the marking of a direct free, hit right on the barrier and in the refill Valverde filled his foot and hit Stole Dimitrievski.

The second goal of the meringues would happen less than 10 minutes later, this time through Arda Guler. The Turkish international was in the right place at the right time and only had to push the ball to the bottom of the nets, confirming to be living a moment particularly inspired by the season: three assists and other goals in the last six games.

In the second part, Real Madrid attempted to extend the advantage, but Valencia managed to resist very much at the expense of Dimitrievski. The Macedonian guardian well tried to postpone a new goal, but would eventually not be able to prevent Mbappé from also enrolling the name in the list of service markers, after further assistance from... Guler.

The French goal would serve to sentence the match, which was already more than directed in favor of the visitors, and fix the final result in the Messalla. At the same time, Mbappé also continues to have more goals than games: 13 in 12 La Liga journeys and 17 try in 16 games distributed throughout all competitions.

Even before the final whistle, Valencia would end up reduced to ten players by the expulsion of Gayà, at 78 minutes, after having swept Mbappé.

Done the math..

At this time, Mourinho's team counts 30 points on 12 days, the same as Barcelona, which only comes into action tomorrow, Sunday, with a visit to the... Atlético de Madrid, currently third ranked that, in case of victory, will take the lead.

In turn, Valencia suffered the seventh loss in the championship and continues to sink into the penultimate position of the qualifying table, with only nine narrow spots.

On the next journey, Real Madrid will receive, in Santiago Bernabéu, Celta, in a duel scheduled for November 21, while Valencia will travel to the stronghold of Rayo Vallecano on the same day.

For now, a competitive break will follow from the clubs due to the appointments of the selections, and most of them will be in action on the double day of the League of Nations.
