Russia drops 199 Ukrainian drones in 12 hours

Russian anti-aircraft defenses have shot down 199 drones in the last 12 hours over 10 Russian regions, the annexed Crimean peninsula and the Black Sea, with no record of serious incidents or damage to Russian critical infrastructure.

“ During last night, antiaircraft defenses intercepted and annihilated 199 Ukrainian fixed wing drones,” the Russian Ministry of Defense indicated on Telegram.

According to Russian military command, drones were dropped over the border regions of Belgorod, Briansk and Kursk.

The regions of Kaluga, Oriol, Riazan, Tula, Rostov, Moscow and Krasnodar, the annexed Crimea and the Black Sea were also attacked.

The mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobianin, announced in the MAX, the Russian message network, the slaughter of nine drones flying towards the Russian capital, while Kaluga governor Vladislav Shapsa said that 11 unmanned aerial devices were knocked down in the region.

In the Rostov region, the driver of a fuel tanker, attacked by Ukrainian drones, according to local governor Yuri Slusar, was seriously injured.
