Caramulo Motorfestival serves as the stage for the national debut of the new high-performance electric Kia. It is the Kia EV9 GT, the brand's most powerful SUV ever with its 509 cv.

YEAH already in September that arrives in Portugal the most powerful SUV ever Kia. The EV9 GT, with more than 500 cv, has a national premiere scheduled for the Caramulo Motorfestival. The event is scheduled for next weekend (4 to 6 September).
This high-performance model has integral traction and 509 hp power, being based on an 800 volt electrical system. The 99.8 kWh battery results in a combined autonomy of 510 km and can be recharged from 10 to 80 percent in 24 minutes (fast charging). The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is in 4.6 seconds.
There is electronically controlled suspension, electronic limited sliding differential (e-LSD), exclusive 21 inch light alloy rims, reinforced braking system that includes neon green front brake clamps with GT inscription, among other details.
At its premiere is the road preview system, which helps the suspension system with electronic control. To this end, it is able to read the road conditions ahead and detect irregularities through the front camera and sensors.
Despite being an electric car, the Kia EV9 GT proposes to replicate the sensations of a traditional motorization: it has the Virtual Gear Shift that mimics the experience of an automatic gearbox, being operated by handhelds on the steering wheel. Active Sound Design, on the other hand, reproduces the sounds of changes in acceleration.
Inside, there are also details that reinforce the sports character of the high performance SUV – sports seats in skin and suede with details in neon green, which repeat themselves on the steering wheel. The GT logo is also engraved in relief.
In addition to the already mentioned wheels and brake clamps, the exterior of the EV9 GT includes a new digital lighting grid with Energetic standards.
When it comes and what's the price?
The new Kia EV9 GT will be available for order in Portugal from September. Private customers can buy it from 95.090 euros (key price in hand), but for companies the price starts at 85.990 euros.
