O Sporting Braga receives today the Gent, at 8:00 p.m., on the second day of the League league league league football conference, in the debut game of Coach Franclim Carvalho and in which seeks to soften the first points.
The new coach succeeded the Spanish Carlos Vicens after the home defeat on Monday with Gil Vicente (2-1), in late play the second day of the Portuguese League, which kept the ‘arsenalists’ in the eighth position, with 11 points, the 13 of the leader FC Porto.
After the defeat of Copenhagen by 3-0, the Sporting of Braga seeks to add the first points in the race against the leader of the Belgian championship, which in the inaugural round of the League Conference won at home by 1-0 the Aarhus of Denmark.
The Gent follows in the 13th position of the ranking table of UEFA's third race, integrating the group of clubs with three points, while Sporting Braga occupies 35th and penultimate place, among the 14 emblems that did not score in the first round.
The top eight league-levels are cleared directly for the eighth finals, while the teams ranked between the ninth and 24th positions will compete for a play-off of access to the next phase, with the remaining to be eliminated.
