Signs of recovery at Stellantis. In the second quarter of the year, the conglomerate showed net profit, in contrast to the injury during the same period of 2025.

EUR 293 million net profit, while in the second quarter of last year it had reported eur 1,869 million of loss. In the first half, net profit was EUR 670 million, as opposed to a loss of eur 2,256 million in 2025.

Revenue also rose significantly: 13 percent for 43,482 million euros between april and june and ten percent for 81,614 million euros in the first half of this year.

Adjusted operational output has skyrocketed 263 percent to 773 million euros in the second trimester and 221 per cent to eur 1,733 million as a whole from january to june, while the adjusted operating profit margin grew to 1.8 and 2.1 percent respectively.

The combined deliveries of cars (including vehicles distributed by joint ventures and associates), ten percent grew in both periods.

North America and Europe drive growth

According to Stellantis' statement, sales in North America grew six percent in the second quarter, especially in the United States and Mexico (where the rise reached 19 percent, including Leapmotor vehicles). He ended up going against the automobile industry, which broke 0.3 percent in the US in the same period. Net revenue in the region increased 32 percent between April and June and 21 percent in the first semester.

As for enlarged Europe, Stellantis was able to grow three percent (seven percent with Leapmotor included) sales – this despite losing market share. This resulted in a positive evolution of revenue (0.2 percent in the second quarter and one percent in the year total by the end of June).

The opposite was done in the Middle East and Africa, where sales fell by six percent and the market share progressed by 20 basis points in a context of contraction of the car sector. Thus, revenue declined four percent from April to June and 0.2 percent from January to June.

In Asia Pacific, the car group reached the highest sales in six months, but still showed a 29 percent drop compared to the second quarter of 2025 (22 percent if Leapmotor sales are also accounted for). This resulted in a fall in revenue: five percent in the second quarter and eight percent in the total of the first half of the year.

Stellantis follows plan and undoes the car sharing business

Stellantis breaks free2move car sharing business by selling it to the German investment company Mutares. The value of the operation announced on Tuesday (28 July) was not disclosed.
